With Android 16, Google 3 is preparing the main design overall corresponding to the 3 Metrial 3 Expressive Design Language. But instead of presenting a new look at all its applications, Google is slowly redesigning its main apps. The most recent changes in the default lt phone app have recently produced a lot of buzz.
In a short blog post, Google shows a new phone app and explains why it makes these changes.
The first thing is that the new phone app is much easier and more well -organized. The more crowded bottom bar is now just showing “home”, “keypad” and “voice ismail”. Filters like missed Calls LS, Contacts and Spam have been moved to the Home tab.
Speaking, the Home tab shares space with favorite contacts and shows the recent Call LS GS. In addition, calls of the same contact are now shown separately.
The “Contacts” Tab B B is gone together, and the “Keipad” takes in the middle of the Tab B and replaces the floating action button. The dialer is no longer around you when switching between TSs in the phone app.
Finally but not the least, Google is experimenting with new swipe gestures to respond to Calls Ls to reduce the accidental answers or decline while pulling the phone from your pocket. However, Google is taking users’ suggestions, so swipe gestures may change.
The app is only available to beta examiners for now, but it is possible that Google can introduce a new version before launching Android 16.
