Samsung was one of the leaders in the foldable phone market and we have already seen the teaser about its next first Tri-Fold device. Some rumors indicate that we can see the tri-fold at next week’s Galaxy Unpacked event and we now thank the team Android power Who finds the animation files hidden in the latest One UI 8 Build.
This shows the design of the device, which includes three rear panels and two inner folding hinges. More interestingly, Samsung’s Tri-Fold survives on different sizes and will fold the report inside the report rather than an external folding approach found on Huawei’s ally XT.
This means that Samsung’s device has to be left from right to left as shown in the following animation.

Samsung’s Tri-Fold is referred to as a Multifold 7 in a UI8 code, while previous rumors indicate that it is internally called Q7M. While its commercial name is not finalized, previous reports point it to the Galaxy G Fold.
According to the previous leak, Samsung’s first Tri-Fold device will feature 9.96 “folding screen and 6.54” cover displays. It is expected to weigh about 300 grams and can only start in South Korea and China.
