In the EU, smartphone manufacturers now need to include labels indicating battery life and longevity, IP rating, plus drop resistance and repairing scores for each new model. It’s great for customers and, as it turns out, is great for leaks – here is the label for the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7.
The Z Fold 7 will have a 4,400mAh battery, which will be the same as its predecessor. The exact capacity is not on the label, but the expected battery is on a single charge – 40 hours and 28 minutes. In addition, the battery is rated for 2,000 charge cycles (while retaining at least 80% of its original capacity).

How to read the Eprel label
Note the QR code in the upper right corner. It leads to a more detailed page, though there is nothing in this particular case – here is a link. The page explains that “the date that the model is placed in the market and its information is accessible in this site” can be delayed up to 72 hours. “
Here is the Galaxy S25 Edge Page, for example, for what the page should look like. It lists the battery (3,786 mAh rated capacity) and the battery life per charge – 40 hours and 5 minutes, or a slightly less than the Z Fold 7.
There are additional details like repair information, submission depths for water resistance rating and Mohs hardening scale for glass.
