They are here-Sunsung has launched its upcoming foldables this week. This includes a new fold and a new flip model and, for the first time, cheap flip Fe. Do your eyes set on a particular model – and if yes, what?
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 is significantly thinner than its predecessor – it went from 12.1 mm/5.6 mm to 8.9 mm/4.2 mm when it is folded/folded/unfolded. It’s also lighter, 215g vs. 239 g. It’s 3g less than S25 Ultra!
However, Samsung had to make some sacrifices: battery capacity charging (25 W/15W) remained the same (4,400mAh) and S Pen support was removed.
Both displays have grown – 6.5 “cover displays (above 6.3”) and 8.0 “inside (above 7.6”). This comes with increased dimensions, however, folded phones now measure 158.4 x 72.8 mm compared to 153.5 x 68.1 mm. For that value, the vanilla S 25 is 70.5 mm wide and the edges are 75.6 mm, so the Z Fold 7 is still useful with one hand.
The phone now has 200MP main cameras and other upgrades – check the camera samples we have taken and in New York. One change that could prove less popular is that Samsung removed the under-display camera from the inside and replaced it with a 10MP punch hall camera-it guarantees better quality, but now 8 “displays have a hole.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 is also down – on its predecessor, from 14.9 mm/6.9 mm to 13.7 mm/6.5 mm (weight is essentially at 188g). However, this model brings a large battery – 4,300 mAh is not wide, but it is surprising to the slimmer build (and because Samsung Z fold 7 could not increase the battery capacity).

It also has a large display inside and outside-a edge-to-age “cover display and 6.9” internal display. However, the only significant change in the camera setup is 10-bit HDR video support (also available on Z Fold 7). That means there is no dedicated zoom lens, so you have to do with a 2X in-sensor zoom from 50MP Main. Check our camera templates to see what it looks like.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 Fe is the type of re -release of Z Flip 6. Here is a comparison – a long story short, last year’s Exynos 2400 (from the S2 series) replaces Snapdragon 8 General 3 for the Galaxy. The performance is the same, but the functionality is worrisome. S 24+ (Exynos 2400, 4,900 mAh batteries) created 12:30 in our active use test, while S22 Ultra (Snapdragon 8 General 3, 5,000 MAH) lasted and made 13:49.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 Fe
Fe has the same battery capacity as Z Flip 6, 4,000 mAh, despite Z flip 7 Ga ER. Also, it has less RAM, 8 GB vs. 12 GB. And if that wasn’t enough, the Z Flip 7F. Not available from carriers (although retailers sell Units Units, though).
When we are on the subject of chipsets, we should note that the Premium Galaxy Z Flip is only powered by the Exynos 2500 – yes, even in the North American market.
Take a look at the prices. Z Flip 7F starts at $ 200/£ 200/€ 200 last year than Z Flip 6, but you can still find Z Flip 6 units – and their cost is often less than Fe. Speaking of the other two, the Z Fold 7 got a president, while the Z Flip 7 was priced at launching like Z Flip 6.
