If you were out of the city this week, here’s a recap of the Galaxy Unpacked event. Samsung opened a new chapter with Slimmer Z foldables and the first Fe foldable also targets lower prices. He also launched a new smartwatch with “mattress” design.
All new devices went to the pre-order after the event and will continue for a few weeks. During the pre-order period, phones get a free storage upgrade.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 is the Super Slim (9.9 mm fold, 4.2 mm manifest) and lights (215g, it weighs less than S2 Ultra). You can check our hands for a close look and do not miss the camera samples that show what a new 200MP camera can do.
The phone also has a large display – 6.5 “cover and 8.0” main display (above 6.3 “and 7.6” on Z Fold 6 “). One thing that was not upgraded was the battery – you are still watching a 4,400mAh cell. Samsung says Z folded buyers had other priorities, demanding slimmer build, better cameras and larger displays.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 offers the best of both the world – a slimmer design (13.7 mm fold, 6.5 mm vs. It is 300 mAh more than the previous model and almost as folded battery.
It also has a large display, one edge-to-age 4.1 “cover display and 6.9” inner one (vs. 3.4 “and 6.7” 2024 on the model). However, all Z Flip 7 models will be powered by the Exynos 2500 – at least it is the same for European and American models. The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7F is a more affordable clamshell foldable – its MSRP is $ 200 less than last year Z Flip 6.
Even so, you are looking at the Galaxy Z Flip 6, except for the Galaxy replacing Snapdragon 8 General 3 for the old Exeminus 2400 chipset. Also, the memory was cut into 8/128GB and 8/256GB configurations, but the free storage upgrade gets you later.
The Samsung Galaxy VCH Ch 8 is thin in the family, which measures only 8.6 mm, while receiving a small bump in battery capacity. Squiral shape as Samsung conditions – or “mattress design” – is said to be more comfortable and more stable to wear (this enables more reliable reading during exercise with many movement).
VCH Ch 8 has a 50% bright display (now increases 3,000 NITs), but it is powered by the same Exynos W1000 as last year’s Watch Ch 7. Check out our Galaxy VCH Watch Ch 8 Series to keep a close eye on the Watch Ch 8 and VCH 8 classic.
The Samsung Galaxy VCH 8 brings back the classic rotating bezel and presents a quick button similar to the Watch Ch Ultra. This one is available in just 46 mm sizes and comes with a relatively small 1.34 “display.
No exemption yet, but the watches come with a free Duo wireless charger in the UK and an additional band (a total of $ 138) and a cashback of € 150 in Germany.
The Samsung Galaxy VCH Watch Ultra has not found any sequel, but Samsung refreshed the existing model with a new color, titanium blue, and doubled the storage to 64 GB (compared it with a new classic). Even with a $ 100 gift card, you can choose to go with an old ultra – 32GB still a lot of storage for the clock – unless you need additional storage for podcasts or something.
