According to a 9to5Mac report, Apple Pal will include GPT -5 in the final publications of iOS 26, iPados 26, and Macos Taho 26. It all expects to start rolling next month, which should be official to the iPhone 17 family.
In Apple Pal Intelligence, you can use Siri to cause chatgupt to cause. Apple taps in the chatagapt to respond when helpful for your request. You can also use a chatagpt with Apple Pal Pal Intelligence writing tools, and use a chat with Apple Pal’s visual intelligence with camera control to quickly learn more about what is around you.
All of these functions currently use GPT -4O but will be upgraded to GPT -5 with the release of the next versions of the Apple Pal’s operating palleting systems, so you will not have to wait to get all the upgraded efficiency in GPT -5.
