A new report states that Amazon’s long-lasting line of fire-branded tablets is going to go through some significant changes, a new report said. The company is allegedly planning to move away from its own fire OS (which is Android fork) and actually use Android.
The first fire tablet to operate Android will arrive next year, and will cost $ 400, which is a price point than we used to see fire tablets.
The switch to Android has been obviously a multiair project for Amazon, and as a result of the retailer, it is basically listening to many complaints about Fire OS from its customers.
Obviously, Amazon hopes its tablet’s sales will jump significantly following the switch on Android. Nevertheless, there is still a catch here. Amazon Open Source will use Android, so no Google applications will be pre -installed.
