Google and Samsung launched a Unified Quick Share on Android last year, and now it seems that the search giant is busy making it compatible with the iPhone … Somehow.

The tears of the latest Google Play Services Beta app have revealed this fact, indeed confirming the initial report about a year ago. Clearly, it takes a while, but it is still coming. And when the functionality comes, here’s a screen that you will see on your Android smartphone when trying to share something with the iPhone when you are not signed in your Google Account:

So, interestingly, it looks like you need to sign in to use a quick stock to send something from Android phone to iPhone, even if you share on another Android device fast.

Why is it not clear why discrepancies exist, maybe you need to use a Google Account on the iPhone to work fast shares (possibly via the Google Google app)? However, at this point this is all speculation. It is important to note that this feature is still being worked out, and now it is part-compassionate in the latest Google Play Services Beta app, so we will get closer to its public release.
