Huawei has announced the freeboods SE4 wireless earphones, the first in the SE lineup offering active sound cancellation.
Earbuds support multi-mode ANC with noise reduction up to 24DB. Users can tackle the TG between the ultra, normal and cozy noise cancellation conditions based on the environment. Earbuds also have a three-mike setup.
Huawei has equipped freeboods SE4 with 10mm dynamic drivers, with the support of SBC, AAC and MSBC codex. In terms of design, earbuds and charging cases are found closely at their predecessor, freebuds SE3. Each earbud is lightweight, weighs only 3.3g.
Freeboods promise up to 50 hours of total playback with SE4 charging case. At the same charge, the earbuds are claimed to last up to 7 hours with the ANC enabled, and up to 10 hours.
Earbuds pack 41mAh batteries, while in this case there is a 510 mAh cell. A USB Type-C port is available to charge. Other highlights include Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity, IP54 rating for earbuds and support for tap gestures.
The Huawei Freebuds SE4 is priced at £ 59 ($ 79) in the UK and is available in white or black color options.
