Last week, we have specifically reported that Ulephone will unveil the Armor Pad 5 Ultra Tablet with a built-in projector at IFA, which starts tomorrow in Berlin, Germany. We have now learned from a trusted source that a new, premium rigid phone brand – provoked by Rugon – Ulephone – will also enter the IFA.
Rugon is a mix of “rigid” and “top one” and we are told that Rugon will consider the demand for durable, durable and repairing outdoor technology. Moreover, Rugon will take advantage of Ulephone’s production skills and supply chains and will be committed to creating high-quality, long-lasting products that reduce environmental influence.
Rugon’s formula will be “bold”, which will reflect the ambition to innovate and lead its philosophy and outdoor communication sector. The Uulephone – Sopped brand will debut with the XVI 7 series at IFA, with two rugged smartphones – XVR 7 and Xver 7 Pro. We have found special details about both, so let’s see what is on offer fur.
The Rugon Xever 7 Pro Dimension will be powered by 7025 SOC and will have 12GB LPDDR 5 RAM and 512GB UFS 3.1 storage onboard, which will expand up to 2 TB via microSD card. Smartphones will boot Android 15 and receive OS upgrades up to Android 18.
The Xver 7 Pro 2,200-Night Peak will feature 6.67 “120 Hz FullHD+ AMOLED display on the front with brightness. There will be a punch hall at the center for a 32MP selfie camera using the Galaxycore GC32E sensor.
There will be two cameras around the back – 50MP Primary (Samsung Isussell GN9, OIS) and 64MP Nightwizzen (Omnivision OV 64B) unit. There will be a thermal sensor from the flir.
The fuel of the Xver 7 Pro will be a 5,500mAh battery which will charge up to 33W by USB-C port and up to 18 W. It will also support 10 W reverse wired charging.
The Rugon Xiver 7 Pro’s swappable battery will be announced as a smartphone, and its design will allow users to exchange batteries without powering the device. It is a courtesy of a mini battery of 80 mAh capacity in the motherboard area. It will last for three minutes and will be displayed as a reminder on the countdown timer screen.
The smartphone will bundle with extra batteries, meaning you will get two 5,500 mAh cells. You will also find an extra battery cover with the package, and we have learned that Rugon will introduce some custom battery cover for smartphones.
Another highlight of the Rugon Xiver 7 Pro will be ESIM support, which varies by carrier and field. The remaining Rugon Xiver 7 Pro’s highlight includes a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a shortcut key located on the left frame of the phone, a 3.5mm headphone jack and a glare flashlight. It will also be IP68/IP69K-rated and a MIL-STD-810H certificate.
The Rugon Xiver 7 Pro will be black, and there will also be a commerce version.
