We have some eyebrow-raising smartphone designs this year-and we will have some next year. Did you watch the leak yesterday that showed the Galaxy S26 Series Dummies? The S26 Edge was especially stood with the camera island with a chronic camera.
CAD-based render is now hit on the web, created by Crisp. They confirm the overall design and give certain dimensions: 158.4 x 75.7 x 5.5 mm. This current S is 0.3 mm thin than 25 edges, though it is not responsible for camera island.
Said camera island total thickness up to 10.8 mm. It’s … a lot. Especially considering that it almost spreads to the full width of the phone. Why did Samsung go with such a D Dub Ball L design? We look forward to know by the future leak.
Even so, this leak-on-it-confirms that the Samsung Galaxy S26 Edge will have a built-in magnet for full QI2 support. Of course, Camera Island can make things difficult when it comes to creating a magnetic snap-access accessories- check the dummy leak from yesterday to see where the circle of magnets is in relation to Camera Island.
The display should confirm more details about the panel as before 6.7 “Karna. Based on that and the same dimensions of the S22 edge, the 2026 model should have the same floor around the screen.
On the plus side, Samsung has found a way to increase battery capacity on the current edge, which has risen from 3,900 mAh to 4,200 mAh. If this C/C battery was not as much as we hoped, but it could explain why the Galaxy S26 edges are in shape.
Previously, we saw the same run gickboard with Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 (or whatever is called), which will be officially announced soon. Unfortunately, it was a US variant, so we do not know if other regions would get a different chipset (we are thinking about Exynos 2600 of course). Other changes may include 50MP ultra-wide cameras-despite the XL-sized bump, the third camera will not be added.
