Back in March we first heard that Sony was busy working on its first 200MP sensors for the smartphone camera, for a major camera and one who really could head to Samsung’s Galaxy S26 Ultra according to another rumor.
Today the species of the upcoming sensor have been detailed by the famous Liquor Digital Chat Station in China. Will this smartphone be the biggest thing in photography? Just tell the time, but it ensures that the paper looks promising.
It is located above the Litia LYT -900 in Sony’s portfolio, with the model number IMX 09E. It is a 1/1.12 “type of sensor with 0.7μm native pixel size, built on the 22Nm process.
