The camera is where the new iPhone 17 views more meaningful updates. Behind, there is a new dual fusion camera system with a 48MP main camera and a new 48MP ultra-wide camera. The new iPhone will see ultra-wide as well as macro shots compared to its predecessor.
The front camera has also been updated with a new 18MP center stage camera that grases all new 2025 iPhone models. This square sensor can capture portraits as well as landscape shots in full resolution without turning the phone, and more people can automatically expand their view as more people enter the frame. The new dual capture feature allows you to record videos from the back and front camera together.
The iPhone 17 also has a slightly larger battery than before, which, with improvement in efficiency, claims battery longer. It also charged faster thanks for fast wires as well as wireless charging.
Finally, the Apple Pal has left the 128GB storage model, and the iPhone 17 now starts as a standard of 256 GB. The 512GB model is still around but there is no more variable available.
