The Poco F7 Ultra was launched in March alongside the Poco F7 Pro, and we’ve been used to one F-series release every year until now, but that could change.
The Poco F8 Ultra has already been certified for sale in Thailand by the NBTC, which confirms its model number: 25102PCBEG. These certifications don’t just happen before a device gets official, but they usually don’t come six months in advance – hence why we assume the F8 Ultra will be unveiled before its predecessor’s one-year anniversary in March.

There are rumors that it will be the rebranded Redmi K90 Pro, but Redmi has complicated things by revealing that there will also be a K90 Pro Max. And the brand has been the sole focus of teasers for the past few days ahead of its announcement, which we think will be the culmination of the series (as the name clearly suggests).
So, with that in mind, should we assume that the Poco F8 Ultra will be a rebranded Redmi K90 Pro Max? Nothing is certain right now, but it would probably be a good bet. For reference, note that the K90 Pro Max is already confirmed to come with a 6.9″ OLED screen with DC dimming across the brightness range, a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, a main camera using a 1/1.31″ type sensor, a 50MP ultrawide, and a telescope-to-telescope camera.
