The Vivo X300 series is off to a strong start – the two new models received largely positive results in last week’s poll. There’s still the question of a global launch timeframe and price hanging over it – the official launch is set for the end of the month, so expect more details next week.
The Vivo X300 Pro received a thumbs up from over a third of voters. We’re still working on a full review, but we’ve got a hands-on review with both the X300 and X300 Pro, complete with plenty of camera samples, so you can check it out – around 14% of voters could be swayed in favor of the Pro if the reviews are good.
About half of voters are looking at different flagships – the good news for Vivo is that many of them prefer the smaller X300, while others are holding off until they see what the Vivo X300 Ultra is capable of. As good as the Pro camera is, the Ultra camera should be top notch.
As for the smaller Vivo X300, this is also proving to be quite popular. Yes, some will be rather big pros. However, very few will bother waiting for the cheap Vivo X300 FE. There are a few smaller flagships around, notably from Apple, Samsung and Google, but not all that many, so the X300 has a better chance of standing out than its Pro sibling (there’s no shortage of (~6.7” flagships).
Voters appreciated the larger batteries and that Vivo eventually moved to USB 3.2 for the Type C port. In terms of criticism, the smaller X300 may have larger camera sensors – the iPhone 17 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro and Xiaomi 17 Pro all have 1/1.3” sensors, while the Vivo has a slightly smaller 1/1.4” sensor.
