Apple’s iPad Pro will get more cooling in 2027. According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, high-end tablets will also be equipped with the new chip.
The analyst notes that Apple will include a vapor chamber in next-gen iPad Pro models, which will debut in 2027. A vapor chamber will help the Pro tablets perform better with more efficiency, especially when running resource-intensive tasks.
Gurman also states that the 2027 iPad Pro will be equipped with the new Apple M6 SoC. The chip will be manufactured on TSMC’s 2nm process.
Notably, Apple announced the latest iPad Pro 2025 model just last week. The 13-inch and 11-inch tablets have the M5 chip, the N1 wireless networking chip and Apple’s own C1X modem. The new tablets also come with 12GB of RAM as standard and fast charging.
