According to a new report, Apple is going to launch four new apps for iPadOS. These are Pixelmator Pro, MainStage, Motion and Compressor. They’ll join Apple’s Final Cut Pro and Logic Pro, both of which came to iPadOS in 2023.
Four apps that are believed to be coming to an iPad near you are only available on macOS at the moment. Apple acquired professional image editing application Pixelmator Pro this year, while MainStage is a Logic Pro companion application for live performances, Compressor is a Final Cut Pro companion application for compressing audio and video files, and Motion is a Final Cut Pro companion application for creating 2D/3D titles, transitions and effects.

On macOS, these four are available for purchase with prices ranging from $29.99 to $49.99 each. It’s unclear if the same pricing model will apply to iPadOS or if Apple will choose to offer them as subscriptions. And speaking of things that aren’t clear, when we should expect four new apps to make their way to iPadOS is also a mystery right now.
