Apple’s iPad Air and Mini lineup may soon get a major display upgrade, according to a report by Bloomberg. The company is also working on upgrading the display on the MacBook Air.
The report states that the Cupertino giant is testing new iPad Air, mini, and MacBook Air models with OLED displays. According to the report, Apple plans to introduce an iPad mini with an OLED panel in 2026.

While an OLED display would be a welcome upgrade to the iPad mini, it is expected to come at a higher price. The report suggests that the OLED version could cost $100 more than the current model.
Apple is also developing a redesigned chassis for the iPad mini, with water resistance and an upgraded speaker system.

The iPad Air is also expected to adopt OLED technology in the coming years, although the next iteration will continue to use an LCD panel.
For the MacBook Air, Apple is said to be developing an OLED version, but an upgrade is not expected anytime soon, with a launch timeline possibly set for 2028.
