Since its launch in early 2024, Samsung’s Galaxy AI has been adding support for more and more languages. The total number of supported languages reached 16 in April 2024, rising to 20 in December of that year.
It’s been a while, but now Galaxy AI is finally adding two new languages, Filipino and Gujarati. These are now available to download as language packs in the Settings app. The former is spoken by an estimated 87 million people, the latter by about 62.5 million.

The Filipino and Gujarati languages for Galaxy AI were developed in collaboration with Samsung research centers in Indonesia and India. With these additions, Galaxy AI now supports 22 different languages, spoken by about 74% of the global population, or 5.9 billion people.
More than 70% of Galaxy S25 owners regularly engage with Galaxy AI and Google Gemini, and 47% rely on AI “heavily” in their daily lives, Samsung says. The company thinks it is on track to bring Galaxy AI to more than 400 million devices by the end of this year, after hitting the 200 million milestone in 2024.
