Pushkar Singh Dhami’s government has agreed to give ₹3000 a year to drivers as a uniform allowance and a “notional” raise to retired workers on June 30 and December 31.

News for UK workers: Before the new year, the Pushkar Singh Dhami government of Uttarakhand gave the people who work there two big gifts. The standard allowance of regular drivers who work in all government offices has been raised by the Dhami government. It was decided that all workers who are retiring on June 30 or December 31 will get an extra promotion before they leave.

In fact, at the cabinet meeting on Wednesday, which was led by CM Pushkar Singh Dhami, it was decided that drivers in all other government offices and businesses, except for the secretariat, would get ₹3,000 a year as a uniform allowance. From now on, they will get a yearly uniform allowance of Rs 3000. In the past, this amount was about Rs 2400. This choice will help more than 2,000 everyday drivers in the state.

The benefits of national increase will be given to these retired workers.

The cabinet has agreed to figure out the pension by adding a hypothetical raise to the last salary of workers who retire on June 30 and December 31 of each year. This is what the pay committee suggested. In order to figure out other retirement benefits, the imaginary raise will not be used.

Let us tell you that there are currently about 3 lakh people working for the government in Uttarakhand. These people work in public sector units, educational institutions, and groups that get money from the government. Everyone will be better off because of this.
Besides this, the plan to change the earned leave for workers on strike in the Revenue Department was also approved. It was also okay to bring in a new government order about how to hire Anganwadi workers, assistants, and mini-Anganwadi workers on an honorarium basis, as well as the terms and conditions of their job.
