Realme today unveiled a new 14x smartphone powered by the Mediatek 6300 chipset. The phone is the international version of the China-bound Realme V60 Pro. This means that the Realme 14x has a cool red paintjob as its hero color.
The Realme is built around a 6.67″ LCD with 14x HD+ resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate. There is a punch hole for an 8 MP selfie camera.
There are two cameras on the back, with the main sporting a 50 MP Omnivision sensor. It also has an auxiliary sensor that won’t contribute much to your photos.
The Dimensity 6300 is the chipset, and unlike the variant in China, the 14x here has either 6 GB or 8 GB of RAM, both paired with 128 GB of storage.
The Realme 14x is IP68 and IP69-certified and also passes MIL-STD-810H military-grade durability tests. The SonicWave water ejection feature lets you eject water from the loudspeaker chamber after submerging the phone.
The Realme 14x has a profile of less than 8 mm thickness, and yet it still packs a 6,000 mAh battery with 45W SuperVOOC wired charging support. The company claims that the cell can retain 80% of its charge over a period of 4 years, which is about 1,600 full charging cycles. It also supports 5W reverse wired charging.
The Realme 14x takes two nano SIMs, and the tray also has space for a microSD card. Software-wise, it comes with Android 14 and Realme UI 5.0 on top, and the brand promised two generations of Android version updates and 36 months of Realme UI updates.

The phone comes in three color options – Jewel Red, Crystal Black and Golden Glow. Prices are INR 14,999 ($175/€170) or INR 15,999 ($190/€180) and are already available for purchase on Flipkart, Realme.com and select offline stores.
