An estimated total of 330 million smartphones were shipped in Q4 2024, with Apple leading all brands with a 23% market share. The combined smartphone market grew by 3% over Q3 2024 and grew by 7% year-on-year with an estimated 1.22 billion smartphone shipments in 2024.
Apple has strengthened its leading position thanks to growth in emerging markets across Southeast Asia and India. Samsung came second with 16% market share in Q4, while Xiaomi came third with 13% market share.

Transsion Holdings, which includes brands such as Infinix, Tecno and itel, moved to fourth place while Vivo rounded out the top five, with both OEMs boasting an estimated 8% market share.
