Google and Samsung seem to be working very closely on the AI experiences that will be available on the upcoming Galaxy S25 devices. Promo materials for the Galaxy S25 were leaked earlier today, and among Samsung’s many features, the Gemini featured prominently.

Now a new leak reveals the fact that Gemini will get extensions for Samsung Calendar, Samsung Notes and Samsung Reminders. Extensions allow you to plug Gemini into these Samsung apps and create, edit or delete calendar events, retrieve information from images to create events, list events for a date range, and repeat. Allows you to do things like create events, create and summarize notes, retrieve notes descriptions and titles, as well as create, edit, search and delete reminders.

While this will not allow Gemini to do everything you Can do in these apps, it makes it more useful. And it’s interesting to see Google going this route, as it already has competitors for Samsung Calendar and Samsung Notes, which it can point to people who have asked about such an integration. But instead, it chose to work with Samsung to give Gemini more prominence over the Korean company’s devices.

Note that the source of this leak revealed that these aren’t the only Gemini extensions coming for Samsung’s apps, there will be more. It is also likely that this will roll out to older flagship Samsung devices with the One UI 7 update.
