In last week’s poll, we said that Samsung looked at usage statistics before deciding to give ax to the remote control function from the S -Pen on the Samsung Galaxy S 25 Ultra – well, maybe their second appearance. “Our readers are more technical sensible than regular smartphone owners and are likely to be power users,” acknowledges. With that in mind, a number of voters in the polls will miss remote facilities.
By reading through the comments, many remote shutter believes in the function that comes in handy once in a while. Others feel more emphasized about it, saying that this Bluetooth -based functionality is the one that has made S Pen special (other stylus usually limits itself to the sensitivity of pressure and the eraser function).
Either way, it is clear that two -thirds of voters use at least occasion S Pen remote functions and will miss them if they upgrade to S2 Ultra.
Again, voters here are more likely to be power users, but if you brand a device as a “ultra”, when people expect it to be the best-best, no-campus phone. Especially when said the phone carries a tag for $ 1,300/€ 1,470.
Samsung Samsung could consider the S Pen completely removed – it was always a Galaxy Note facility than one of the Galaxy. Hey, the note series is no longer. Even so, removing S pen can bring some upside, e.g. Big battery. But removing only remote control features is a strict downgrade and it can damage the Galaxy S22 Ultra in the long run.
He said that the S22 series is for a strong start and at least in South Korea, more people have ordered Ultra than those who put together S 25 and S 25+. We will see if it has a velocity after the pre-order period.
