Apple Pal, plans to use the Samsung M14 OLED panel in all iPhone 17 models, a tipper claim. These will include both non-prophet models, as well as the iPhone 17 air, for the first time in years Apple Pal will use the same top-tier panel in all its phones.
The M14 panel has a special light-emitting layer, normal layers and main layers that create individual pixels in OLED. Different materials have different properties and different compositions are used, which allow the display to be performed at a higher level.
IPhone 16 Pro Max
Samsung has already provided the M14 display for the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max. These panels have luminosity and long life span of up to 30% over M 13 panels. However, non-Pro models, which also appeared on the iPhone 15, using previous techs like M12.
Switching to the pro -level of the panel is still not guaranteed that all phones will get all pro -facilities. Apple Pal’s name for promotion, 120 Hz refresh rate can still be named Locked for some cheap models.
