While iOS 19 has long been billed as the largest Software Fatware updates for the iPhone, it will also make a new feature on Airpods users. According to the new report of Morberg NewsApple Pal will bring live translation capability to its wireless earbuds.
According to the report, Airpods will now provide the ability to translate personal conversations, and it will be a collaborative effort to work with the iPhone running iOS 19. A new feature will allow a person wearing airpods to receive a living translation of strangers by earbuds. The person can then talk back to their own language, which will be translated and played back by the loud speakers of the paired iPhone for other listeners.
Google’s Pixel Buds Pro 2 and Samsung’s Galaxy Buds 3 Buds 3 Pro already supports the same interpreter modes.
The report does not mention which airpods models will get a new update. The translation application for iOS was resumed in 2020 and currently supports 19 languages.
The new report also mentions that Apple Pal is working on its third pay-Generation Airpods Pro as well as other models of built-in cameras and Apple Pal Intelligence, which can analyze the environment around the user.
