Huawei unveiled Pura X yesterday without mentioning the chipset. The company’s policy is not to comment on the SOC situation, but now we know that it is Kirin 9020, as the device was available for a hand-on experience after the launch.
The Kirin 9020 is a self-developed platform by Huawei’s chipset section, Hisillican. It started with the Huawei Met 70 series in November 2024.
Hardware information apps reveal 12-core CPUs, but are due to hyperthreading; The chip has an 8-core processor. The breakdown is one 2.5 GHz Teasan Big Core, three 2.15 GHz Teasation Mid Rashies and four 1.53 GHz Cortex-A510 cores.
The top main part may be in-house tine, but four small units are the ARM-based Cortex-A510, which were developed and acquired before Huawei was added to the entity list.
GPU in Kirin 9020 The Malen is 920, which is another home product. It lasts up to 840 MHz, but we have no details about the calculation of architecture or processing unit. While the CPU display is not far from Qualcomm’s main chips, the GPU still acts as a mid-range unit.
