Samsung Electronics co-CEO and head of Consumer Electronics and Mobile Devices Division, Hen Jong-I died of a heart attack at the age of 63.
The newly appointed boss, June Young-Hune, is in charge of the Korean Tech Giant only amid uncertainty in the chip business.

A spokesman for the company told Reuters that Han died at a hospital on Tuesday, when a spokeswoman for the company told Reuters. A co-CEO has not yet been appointed, but one is expected to take its role, as Samsung has traditionally two top officials overseeing customer and chip departments.
June was appointed co-CEO following the annual shareholders meeting last week. His position under the leadership of the semiconductor department was given to him.
Han Jong-Hi has been part of Samsung Electronics for 40 years and played a key role in establishing Samsung TV business as globally. Its absence can affect Samsung’s business strategy, especially in marketing, as well as the influence of its home appliances department.
