Android 16 is coming faster than normal and it has reached platform stability milestone with Beta 3. Ziomi is getting up early with the release of its Android 16 developer preview program for two phones.
Ziomi 15 and Ziomi 14 T Pro are selected test subjects. The former launched with Android 15, while the latter runs the original Android 14, so this is his second main update. They also represent two major platforms – Qualcomm (Snapdragon 8 Allight) and MediaTek (Demensity 9300+).
If the name is not given, this release is intended for developers who want to test their applications on Android 16 and try new APIs and features.
If you want to try the beta, you must first update the phone. Ziomi should be 15 OS2.0.109.0.vocmixm or later, while 14T Pro OS2.0.103.0.vnnmixm should be on or later.
There are two methods to update. Using a local update feature – you can download Roms from Ziomi’s Android Beta Page, then go to Settings and select ROM to install. If you want to downgrade back to the current OS version, you can also download ROM for Android 15/Hypos 2.
The other update method goes through the fastboot and requires that you have an Unal Oked C bootloader, so the local update method is better. Keep in mind that this will clear your data, so back up it first.
An Android Beta Response app has been created in Rome, so if you stumble any issues with Software Fatware, you can send a report to Ziomi.
Last year, Google began to sew Android 15 with pixel phones in the middle of October Chatber. Ziomi announced Hyperoos 2 at the end of October Catber and released an update for Xiomi after 14 days. Google is expected to publish a stable version of Android 16 in May.
