Samsung has introduced a major update on its smartths platform – Samsung Health is now integrated and supported by adopting more device types 1.4 protocols.
If you have a Galaxy VCH Ch (VCH 4 or later) or Galaxy Ring, when does it go asleep and when you wake up, it will keep the track track – smartthings automation can trigger the routines based on those events.
For example, when you go to Asleep, it can automatically turn off the lights and TVs and dial the temperature in the room. When you wake up, it can open the curtains and turn on the TV. Smartthings 2025 Integrates with Samsung TV Plus on Samsung TV, so routines can switch channels – this allows your “waking” routine to turn on the morning news.
Samsung Health integrates more, you will find a sleep environment report in the Galaxy Now briefing, including temperature, moisture, carbon dioxide level and intensity of light (assuming that you have a relevant sensor connected to the smartthings network).
This will add support for 1.4 protocol wide devices: water heaters, heat pumps, solar chargers and batteries and more. You can read more about 1.4 meters here.
Speakers connected to smartthings get broadcasting facilities with this update-quite, you can record a short Voice Is message and play it through the selected speaker. This works that you are at home and want to talk to someone in another room or when you are out.
In 2023, Samsung introduced quiet onboarding for its own products, but now it makes it available for third-party smartths devices that are sold by Samsung.com. Calm onboarding streams the entire process of receiving a new device-Smarts app will show you purchase and delivery updates and once the item arrives a step-by-step setup guide.
Neighboring Board for third-party devices begins first in South Korea and will soon roll in other countries (countries where the IoT marketplace is available). Samsung is available in 14 countries, including calm onboarding, Korea, US, Europe, Australia Stralia and Brazil.
