As promised, Vivo today unveiled the V50s as a new member of the V50 series, including the V50, V50 Light 4G, and V50 Light 5G.
Vivo V50
The Vivo V50E has a dementia 7300 SOC under the hood, like its predecessor V40E. It is paired with 8GB of RAM, and you get two storage options – 128 GB and 256 GB. The V50E runs the Android 15-based Futch OS 15, and Vivo has promised three Android version upgrades and four-year security updates for smartphones.
The Vivo V50E has a front 6.77 “quad -quad -empowered AMOLED display, with 120 Hz refresh rate and FullHD+ resolution. The screen protected by Diamond Shield Glass developed in Scot Glass’s partnership – 1,800 Nit Peak Brightness and HDR 10+ support.
In addition, the Vivo V50’s display has a fingerprint reader for biometric authentication, and there is autofocus and “front fill light” support for 50MP selfie cameras. Moreover, unlike its predecessor, the V50 in selfie camera can record videos in a 4K resolution.
There are two more 50MP cameras around the back of the Vivo V50E – the primary camera using the Sony IMX 882 sensor (with OIS) and an ultravide camera with 116 ° FOV. This is connected by a circular flash vivo, called URA Ra Lite.
The Vivo V50E comes with some AI-operated facilities, including India-specific wedding-style portrait effects (Prosoco, Neo Retro, Pastel) and AI Image Expenders and AI Photo Enhancers. In addition, it supports underwater photography.
Continuing the Vivo V50E and walking is a 5,600mAh battery, which is 100 mAh larger than the V40E cell and charges 10 W up to 90 W.
The remaining Vivo V 50E highlights include IP68 and IP 69 ratings and dual stereo speakers.
The smartphone comes in white color of the sapphire blue and pearl, with unique patterns of former flattening on all its units.

The Vivo V50’s 8GB/128GB model costs INR28,999 ($ 340/€ 305), while the 8GB/256GB version costs INR30,999 ($ 360/€ 325). Vivo’s official website, Amazon.in, Flipkart and partner retail stores will both models go on sale in India from April 17.
