Google is currently in the process of rolling the latest update on Google Play Services. This is a way in which Android manufacturer can issue some updates out of real OS updates, and this is what is happening at this time.
Once your Android phone receives the latest Google Play Services update, 25.14 labeled, if it is locked for three consecutive days, it will restart automatically.
This is a security feature that will take the phone to its “first Unal Lock K”, where it will descend after self-rabboot. In this state, the data is encrypted and difficult to cess, if the phone is in the “first Unl Lock” position, once you enter your passcode on any restart.
Apple Palle launched a similar feature in iOS 18.1 last year (inactivity reboot is called there), and it is good to see Google’s claim below. This will work on Android phones and tablets, but OS will not wear devices.
