While finding the X8 series in China for the unveiling of Oppo, we enjoyed spending a few minutes with the new search X8s and find X8s+. This is our first impression of it!
The pair of Find X8S models meets the range and only sits under the X L-Out X8 Ultra. But despite what the names suggest, find the X8 and X8s both flagship phones in their own right.
Both are also small and in turn, easily managed in hand, especially X8. Find X8s have a 6.32 -inch display, and it is only 150.6 mm tall and weighs below 180 grams.

Here is a quick look at the size difference between the two models. Both models finish in a variety. Find X8s+ has a matte frame in black or purple and a glossy frame in white. The purple model has a matching purple camera island, while the other two have black glass around the lens.
Find X8S White (Glossy Frame, Black Glass Camera Island), purple and blue (matte frame, color-matched camera island glass) and black (black camera island glass, matte frame).
Find x8s+ is a big phone. It has a 6.59-inch display panel-1-120 Hz 10-bit unit with dolby vision, and a top brightness of 1,600 knit.
The phone is heavy at 198G, and at 157.5 mm. It is still fully managed and smaller than the ultra phones there.

Q Camera Mera Systems is very similar between two x8s models. The main Camera Mero is the same 24 mm f/1.8 units with 50 MP1/1.56-inch sensor. Ultravide is also shared – 15 mm f/2.0 lens and 1/2.75 -inch sensor – in fact this is the same unit found in Find X8 Ultra!
Zoom cameras are different on Find X8 and X8s+. The X8s+ has a 73 mm f/2.6 periscope zoom with a 1/1.95-inch sensor, while the Find X8s contains 85 mm f/2.8 zoom with small imagers.
Back to hardware. When both phones look very similar, there is a significant difference in the hand. Search X8s looks significantly smaller. The size distance is higher than the remedy in his photo and you have to handle both to get it.
Like Find X8 Ultra, Oppo has no plans to bring X8s and find X8s+ in international markets. Chinese phones always have a global availability of spotty, but as they get better and better, they are becoming especially painful for us.
Both find that X8S devices are relatively compact, have excellent hardware, and, importantly, the silicon-carbon is equipped with batteries- Find X8s has 5,700 mAh cell, while Find X8s+ has 6,000 mAh. Compare it to the Galaxy S25 Ultra’s 5,000 mAh battery or 3,582 mAh unit of iPhone 16 Pro!
The cameras on recent Chinese phones are getting better and better. But, unfortunately, it is incompatible for all international audiences.
