Today, WhatsApp has officially announced the launch of advanced chat privacy, which was leaked earlier this month. This is a new “privacy” available in both 1 -to -1 chats and groups, and when you want extra privacy it allows you to prevent your content from taking out of WhatsApp.

If you turn this on, you block other people from exporting chats, self-deprecating the media in their phones and using messages for AI features. Therefore, WhatsApp says, “In this way, everyone in the chat is more confident that no one can take what is said outside the chat.” Unless people know how to use a screenshot, but we degrease.

WhatsApp thinks that this feature will work in most “groups where you do not know everyone closely in groups but still sensitive in nature, such as talking about health challenges in the support group or planning your community important for you”.

To turn this on, tap the chat name, then tap on the advanced chat privacy. WhatsApp says this is just the first version of the feature and it plans to add more in the future so that it will “finally include more defense”.
