Google CEO Sundar Pichai has announced that the company is working to bring Gemini to your car and smartwatch. It will reach the former by Android Auto toe and later OS OS. Pichai also mentions tablets and headphones that Google Assistant receives the “upgrade” at Gemini at the end of this year.

We are upgrading Google Assistant to Gemini on mobile devices, and this year we will upgrade tablets, cars and devices attached to your phone, such as headphones and watches.
No other details were given, but of course this is not surprising. Google has invested a lot of time and money in Gemini, and so it was always a matter of time until it reaches every device and platform where Google is in charge of software ftware, and that would happen.
Unfortunately, in true Google fashion, there is no real timeline to speak – “this year” should definitely be the company’s favorite sentence. We will let you know when more information is available.
