A few years ago, Honor was the first in the number-series featuring 90 and 90 Pro 200MP cameras, but after that the company was removed from many pay-generations to high resolution sensors. With the advent of the 400 series, the 200MP is back to the menu.
There are two new models – Honor 400 and 400 Pro. The latter is larger and more powerful and has a dedicated telephoto camera. The vanilla model is a little smaller and is more affordable, while still offering all the 200MP main cameras and Honor and Google dreams of all AI features.
Honor 400 Pro
Honor 400 Pro 200MP main camera (with 1/1.4 “sensor, F/1.9 lens OIS), 50MP telephoto (1/2” with Sony IMX 856, with F/2.0 OIS) and 12MP ultra-wide camera (F/2.2 112 ° lenses) with macro capabilities). The front camera is a 50MP unit.
This model is powered by Snapdragon 8 General 3 like 300 Pro. It is connected to 12 GB RAM and 256/512 GB storage. AI tools from their own work of Google Cloud and Honor can turn into a stable photo video, eliminate passers, remove reflection and so on. There is still more: AI subtitles, AI translation, AI writing equipment, AI summaries and more. In addition to creative and functional applications, AI can also protect you from the Deepfac Detection feature that can catch the scandal video Calls.
Honor 400 Pro
Honor 400 Pro has a 120 Hz refresh rate and a 6.7 “quad-cervical display with 1,280 x 2,800px resolution.
The phone measures 8.1 mm thick and weighs 205g. It is rated IP68/IP69 for dust and water resistance. Inside is a 5,300mAh SI/C battery that supports 100W wire and 50W wireless charging. According to the company, after 4 years of use, the battery will retain at least 80% of its original capacity (it is rated 1,200 charge cycles).
The phone is launching with Magicos 9.0 (Android 15) and will be supported for 6 years with OS updates and security patches. The Android 16 update for the 400 series is expected later this year.
Honor 400
Honor 400 is a small model of both 6.55 “displays, with a flat 120 Hz panel with 1,264 x 2,736px resolution and equal 5,000 peak peak HDR brightness with 3,840 Hz PWM dimming.
The vanilla model has a 12MP ultra-wide (f/2.2 112 °) similar to the 200MP main camera (1/1.4 “sensor, F/1.9 lens) with a macro mode and 50MP selfie camera.
Honor 400
Honor 400 is powered by Snapdragon 7 General 3, again, the same chipset as its predecessor. It has 8 GB of RAM and 256/512 GB storage. This model has the same AI capabilities as Pro.
One final downgrade is worth mentioning that the vanilla phone only has a splash resistance with the IP 65 rating.
