Sony has not heard using third-party manufacturers to produce her phone. Japanese OEM has been doing this with its mid-rangers for a while, but according to a recent report, Sony will probably also outsource its high-final smartphone manufacturing.

In fact, you will no longer find “smartphones” in the list of devices on Sony’s own product sites in Thailand. HIST, three manufacturing sites were involved in Sony’s smartphone production – two in Thailand and one in China. None of them now list “smartphones”.
