Samsung in Texas, Texas, U.S. Find yourself under the patent violation case filed in the District Court. The court reached the initial verdict and ordered Samsung to pay a loss of 7 117.7 million. Plaintiff? Maxel (formerly Hitachi Maxel), whose patents belong to the Galaxy Smartphone and Tablet Unle Oking King Tech, Data Management and Smart Home Platforms.

The current case was initially re -filed in September 2023 when Maxel accused Samsung of violating its seven patents, including Smarts Station, using Maxel’s patent tech using smartphones, laptops and home appliances.

According to the report shared by Korea HeraldSamsung licenses Mexel’s patents for a period ten years ago in 2011. Once the initial agreement ended in 2021, Samsung continued to use patent tech without renewing his license with Maxel. The Japanese company then lodged legal complaints in several district courts in the US, Germany and Japan.

Samsung can appeal the current district court’s decision to the higher court, and is expected to do so, which means that this legal war is far away.
