Previously, you now need to tap “Summary of this email” at the top of the message to get this functionality that the default is now on and automatically turned on.
The feature is currently being rolled out for emails in English. Those emails that are not flagged by Gemini, such as a summary will be helpful, it will not be automatically produced, but you will still ask yourself by summarizing this email chip to the top.
Everyone is expected to take a rollout 15 days. Note that this will only be available to customers with Google Workspace Subscribers, Google One AI Premium Subscribers and Gemini Education or Gemini Education Premium.
