Today, Samsung has proudly announced that it is greatly expanding the availability of sleep apnea investigations on its galaxy watches. It will now be available in more 36 countries (of which 34 are in Europe), bringing a total of 70 countries and regions global.

This feature works on the Galaxy VCH Ch4 and the latter models wear OS 5.0 and later versions, but the main catch is this – your watch will have to be attached to the Samsung smartphone to do this work. The phone needs to be on Android 12 or later. This will also stop doing the work if you travel to an unsupported country.

Sleep apnea is a common yet serious medical condition that causes breathing when you are asleep, resulting in disruption of oxygen supply, low sleep quality and other health difficulties – in its press release, Samsung Hypertension, Cardiac Disorders, and Ogn.

Sleep Apnea Facility uses Samsung’s bioactive sensor to measure oxygen saturation (SPO 2) during the Sleep Sleep. It analyzes transformation in the SPO 2 levels related to apnea and hypoponia patterns, and estimates the possibility that you have apnea, then gives you information about it.
