The latest feature of WhatsApp is the ability to allow you to share other position updates. This is now live in the latest WhatsApp beta for Android, which means it will probably make it on a non-beta track in the next few weeks or months.
The convenience is really self-tough, indeed. The main point here is that this default will be closed as a lt. So if you want to allow others to share your status updates, you will need to turn it on during each position update. And when someone shares your status, you will be notified.
However, viewers of the shared position will not see that to maintain your privacy, you created it. Interestingly, if someone re -shares the shared position you create, you will not be informed about this action – only the person who shared you for the first time. That’s because the shared position basically creates its new version.
Yet, sharing status updates were only possible to mention that were directly mentioned. But with this new feature, anyone can share your status if you allow sharing. Of course, this helps greatly in the visibility of your position, if it is something you want.
