Samsung has long been a rumor of exit, La Huawei Met XT, its first Tri-Fold smartphone, later this year. It is yet to be seen whether it will be announced with the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and the Galaxy Z Flip 7 at its next unpacked event in New York in early July.
Regardless, the device is currently engaged in global certificates dance, especially in China’s 3C database. This certificate reveals that the phone will only support 25W wired charging.
Of course, the certificate in China also confirms that the handset will start there. The model number in the Tri-Fold smartphone is SM-F9680, where the “0” suffix signals a phone intended for the Chinese market. Over the world, it will be SM-F968X, the last character will be changing based on the market. The SM-F968 is previously associated with the Tri-Fold device.
Surprisingly, the 3C certificate also shows the fact that Samsung will send a tri-fold smartphone without a charger to B in cough. According to the past leaks, the device will have 9.96 “folding screen and 6.54” cover displays, and weighs 298g. Its release can be very geographically limited.
