Between the Samsung Galaxy S 25+ and S22 Ultra with the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge slotting, it is surprising to get which of those three. Especially India and the US In markets like, where the edge is only $ 100/INR which is more expensive than the S 25+. Even if both devices are made for different users, it is advisable to get the best hardware for your hard -earned money.
However, European consumers have that easy. The plus model goes for about € 400 less than the edge. So is that edge price premium value? Let’s find out.

For beginners, you can compare the full specs sheets or continue directly with the assessment of our editor In the following text.
Size comparison
Nevertheless, both handsets share approximately the same design, the camera island and the same screen the diagonal, the clear benefit of the S2 Edge. It is significantly lighter, thin and negligent to short and narrow. So when it comes to portability, the S 25 Edge is a clear choice.
As long as the build quality, the edges are best again. The handset has a solid gorilla glass ceramic 2 protective panel and a lighter and strong titanium frame.
Comparison
There is no discrepancy in the display section. The Galaxy S22 Edge and S 25+ shares the same display technology, size, features and resolution. Both screens were able to increase a bit more 1,400 NITWhich is exactly for outdoor use even on a bright sunny day.
B Battery Terry Life
The edge of the Galaxy S22 has a significantly lower battery capacity than the S 25+, it is not surprising that it provides a secondary battery life. The plus model pushes the edge in each battery test, but we are surprised to see the edge S 25+ in the video playback test.
Preaching
Charging of the Galaxy S 25+ is closed using a power delivery charger at 45 W, which supports Samsung -owned PPS, while the S2 Edge 25W stands for charge. In theory, the S 25+ should be significantly fast, but it’s not really like that.
Two phones have a comparative time from 0 to 100%. Samsung has remained very much Rs SERV at its charging pace, and its Galaxy phones usually take almost the same time to charge.
Nevertheless, the S 25+ gives you more charge in the first 15 to 30 minutes of the charging cycle, which is more practical in our books. When in a hurry, almost anyone charge their phone from 0 to 100%, so we consider the charging curve of more appropriate S25+ for real-world views.
Chair
When sound tuning is the same, the Galaxy S 25+ comes to the top with full sound and more leading bass. There is also a loud loud speakers on the plus.
This is somewhat expected in view of the size of the S25 Edge. In this case small phones or thin people, it seems difficult to produce strong bass and is usually quiet.
Operation
The Galaxy S 25+ and S 25 Edge shares the same chipset – Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy. “For Galaxy” suffix means CPU and GPU overclock. More specifically, the main two CPU cores run at a higher clock speed compared to the standard SD8 allite.
Available memory arrangements are the same. Both devices are provided in 12 GB/256 GB and 12 GB/512GB variables. Whatever memory options you choose, you get UFS 4.0 storage.
Benchmar
As expected, there is rarely a difference of performance. The S 25+ S2’s edge best outwards the edge of 2-3 %and also falls behind in the combined Antutu 10 test. No wonder here.
Camera comparison
The Galaxy S 25 Edge uses Samsung’s flagship 200MP sensor for its primary camera, borrows the Galaxy S22/S 25+ ultravide unit and completely ignores the telephoto camera. On the other hand, S 25+, a small 50MP main sensor, is a full-developed 3X zoom unit and the same 12MP ultravide camera. The only difference is that Edge’s ultravide camera has Tofocus.
Selfie cameras are similar.
The quality of the image
We are surprised to see the Galaxy S 25+’s main Camera Mera producing relatively similar quality images. Apart from some small differences in the process, which are best trivial, the Galaxy S22 Edge and S 25+ get similar photos from their main cameras. The same goes for ultravide shots, where the edges gain some benefit due to tofocus, which helps create slightly sharp images.
Galaxy S 25 Edge: 0.6x • 1x • 2x • 3x
Galaxy S 25+: 0.6x • 1x • 2x • 3x
We looked at the larger 200MP sensor, expecting a little better 2x zoom crop from the edge, but we struggle to find a meaningful difference. The same goes for a 3x zoom comparison, where the 200MP camera crop matches the 3x telephoto camera dedicated to S 25+.
But as light drops, Edge’s 200MP main camera shows somewhat cleaner and sharp 2x and 3x zoom photos. Therefore, at the end of the day, the lack of a 3x zoom camera does not seem to be an issue with the edge. At least in this context.
Galaxy S 25 Edge: 0.6x • 1x • 2x • 3x
Galaxy S 25+: 0.6x • 1x • 2x • 3x
We also saw a slight difference in post-processing of low-light images from the main camera. The shots of the Galaxy S 25 Edge offers more contrasts and slightly darker, more natural shadows.
Video quality
Below we have a few framagrabs taken by two phones taken by two phones at each central length, so it’s easier to compare one another.
Galaxy S 25 Edge 4K ScreenGrabs: 0.6x • 1x • 2x • 3x
Galaxy S 25+ 4K ScreenGrabs: 0.6x • 1x • 2x • 3x
Talking about videos, there is no virtually no difference between the edges and the plus. Nevertheless, we will choose the S 25+ that the 3x zoom video is a little cleaner than the 3x zoom crop of the edge. The distance is wide as the light drops, as the telephoto unit of S 25+ produces significantly less noisy and more detailed videos.
Judgment
At first glance, the Galaxy S22 offers a lot of sacrifice in favor of the Edge design. Compared to S 25+, it is definitely a better choice when it comes to portability. But the latter will give you long battery life, fast charging and good speakers.
On paper, the Camera Mera system of the Galaxy S 25+ is even more versatile, but it is not in real-world scenarios. The main sensor of the S 25 Edge can provide images like 3X telephoto.
So, when the US Given the small price difference between the two handsets, the edges seem to be a good choice, while the Galaxy S 25+ gives more understanding of both India and Europe, where it significantly reduces the edge. All you have to do is decide whether you prefer the form at the function.
