Huawei unveiled the clock internationally at a press event dedicated to Berlin (here). This year, there are no pro -variants, so the current flagship of the Watch Ch 5 is variable. It is compatible with both iOS and Android and if you want to go out without your phone, there are models with ESIM support.
It is difficult to renovate in a warable space where the facility set has already reached maturity and it is rare to come with something new or useful that has not already been done. With the Watch Ch5, you get all the features you expect from the premium werable, but at this time, Huawei has doubled on the health supervision aspect of all.
The claim of the Watch Ch5 fame is an improved access to health inspection facilities. Instead of digging in menus and apps, you just hold your finger on the sensor for a minute, and the clock will complete your full checkup for the day, potentially warning you about any irregularities that you need for medical help.

Conduct
Our unit is a 46 mm version and comes in purple, with a case made of titanium and a composite strip in matching color. It definitely looks nice and sits well on a large wrist.
If you imagine a small clock, the clock is also available in a version of 5 42 mm, but be aware that not only has a small face, but also a small battery inside.
For our review 46 mm Watch Ch 5 weighs only 58 grams, so despite its relatively large size, it is not a heavy device. Stainless steel models are slightly heavy.
The titanium body is combined with sapphire glass, which is a premium as much as the smartwatch industry is available. Circular glass may not only look wonderful, but it is also very impervious to itching.

We noticed the dome design of the screen, but it is not new – Huawei introduced it in the WHCH Ch 4 series, and here it has the same LTPO with 1.5 “diagonal and 466 x 466 PX resolution.
One of the amendments made by the company is the brightness – it is rated 3,000 NITS, which is the highest for Huawei Werable (technically similar to the Watch Ch Fit 4 Pro, declared at the same event).
Huawei Huawei Health has a crowd-Serce library of Watch faces available in the Health app. These faces are usually divided into three categories based on power efficiency. Unfortunately, all the cool -looking designs with moving objects and animations consumes a lot of power.
At least some faces have been designed so that tapping the sensor on the side activates animation – a nice game, if nothing else.

Now when we mentioned the new sensor, let’s get details of what it does and how it works.
We participated in a special meeting at Shenzhen’s Huawei Headquarters, where the product director offers detailed information about this sensor. Verable’s president, Rico Zhang explained that when the Huawei Trussens system (an array of sensor on the back) is accurate, it is not as fast as fast as the company’s wishes.
The X-tone is not a clickable button, at least not in this Pay Generation of Werable. It is a combination of three sensors: the first finger pressure is found, which is 10 to 50 times more accurate than wrist-based criteria, almost as precise as a medical device. The second is a glass-coated ECG (electrocardiogram) electrode that transmits signals from the finger more quickly.
The third is a PPG sensor (photoplethismogram) – an OPT pattical sensor that finds a change in blood volume, the same medical personnel like clamps use the SPO 2 and heart rate on our fingers.
It’s all for the theoretical part. In practice, the Watch Ch5 can provide nine health -related reading by pressing the sensor for 60 seconds by a health view symptom. Activates a strong press application for three seconds from anywhere in the menu – first, it needs to be directly contacted for 30 seconds for ECG measurement, followed by SPO 2, heart rate, stress and more after 15 seconds.
The third step is to cough on the clock. Werable Records Audio Dio, analyzing it, and provides respiratory check feedback.
Three steps of health care
All of these health checks are already available in the old Huawei Werable. The difference is that they all combine in a mega-app, which also provides a new health metric-HRV or heart rate variablity. This is the latest and trendiest feature, which analyzes the routine of intervals between each heartbeat.
High HRVs are considered healthy, while low HRV may indicate stress or potential health issues. An important reminder: Huawei VCH Ch5 is a smart gadget, stylish accessory and a tool for fast health metrics; However, it is not a medical device.
S. SOFTWARE FITWARE AND HARD OWN
The Huawei Watch Ch5 has a health insights, which should not be confused with the eyes of health. This feature is only available in the health application and provides an intelligent analysis of Sleep, stress and health advice when tracking trends. You need to wear a watch for an extended period of time to work accurately.
Health -related health insights can be found in the Health Application Health tab, and yes, Huawei can work a little hard on naming. Technically, anyone with V115.1 repetition of the application can find their insights, but the analysis is based on advanced tracking of Trussens, which means only VCH Ch 4, VCH Ch GT4, and VCH Ch Ft 4 Pro Join Vatch Ch5.
Infaration of health
We liked the gesture control over the Watch Ch5, which is new to Huawei. Unlike other companies, we have two gestures that work with a limited number of applications – which may not seem enough, but at least it works unified.
The gesture of tapping the index against your thumb acts as a okay button, while the index sweeps the thumb next to the finger. Applications supporting this gesture are Calls LS, Music, Alarm and Remote Shutter (the latter is only available on EMUI -powered Huawei phones).

The Harmonios 5 offered in the previous Warable is also available in the Watch Ch5-100-sports modes, which includes detailed information for trail runners and golfers, petal maps, broad ECG, arterial stiffness and other step-by-step navigation.
In the clock number range as a premium model, ESIM support is included. In order to work best, the Huawei VCH Ch 5 needs to be supported by the carrier.
This warable range also offers wide third-party support and can be connected to the Internet via Wi-Fi 6 (65 Mbps Max). While all these advanced features drain the battery significantly, Huawei introduced dual battery mode.
Switching between standard mode and ultra-long battery life mode does not take more than 3 seconds, a major improvement from the VCH Ch 4 series, which took about 30 seconds. Activating the second mode disables many features-ESIM support, anything X-T-AP related, step-by-step navigation and any installed third-party application.
B Battery Terry Life
Huawei often does not disclose its Werable’s battery capacity. We can confirm that our 46mm unit capacity is 867 mAh, while the 42mm version is 540 mAh.
The Watch Ch5 provides wireless charging, which works technically with any QE charger, but it is not straight. Clock composition and stripes often make the warables difficult to put on a flat surface.
We tried to charge the WHCH Ch5 with the old wireless charger puck, but this device supports 10W fast charging, which is best provided by the CW05 charger contained in the retail bin. We charged with 5 to 100% of the WHCH WHCH in about 90 minutes, which arranged with Huawei ads.
The use of any other charger can significantly affect the charging time, which can range from 100 to 200 minutes, so we recommend sticking with the roots.
The same charge in standard mode lasted for about 100 hours or about four days. As the display is always activated, the battery life dropped for three days. Things became interesting when we switched to Ultra Saving Battery Life Mode.
Theoretically, we can be more than 10 days, but this will need to be disabled for features like heart rate, SPO 2, stress and sleep tracking. In typical consumption, we received for seven days, though this was without tracking any physical activity. Just adding 90 minutes of exercise weekly battery in five to six days. The use of the AOD has caught our usage in four days.
Fortunately, the battery recharge quickly. We recommend charging warable daily or about 30 minutes every two days – maybe during a regular shower. This approach will ensure that the Watch Ch5 is almost active without compromising the tracking.
Judgment
The initial cost of 46 mm Huawei VCH Ch 5 is 949 for stainless steel models, while titanium models (our purple unit included) cost 9549. This is really cheaper than its predecessor, which is absolutely impressive, especially taking into account new hardware and software ftware.
Huawei usually bundles its Werable with other devices and services. In Germany, the Watch Ch 5 freebuds 6E, an additional fluorolistomer strap and an elaborate three -year -old V Y Runtie, which at an additional price.
Users in Spain can also get a discount on weight scale (€ 50 instead of $ 10), while customers from Poland can get the frear at a 33% discount.
Huawei VCH Ch 5 is a significant device that should be considered, both new and experienced, both newly enthusiasts. It has a wide range and exceptional durability of impressive battery life, applications and features.
