Samsung is a rumor of the Galaxy S26 family (mostly in January) to start running an UI 8.5. A few days ago we got the first appearance of design changes in this upcoming release, and today there is additional news about the new feature that will be created, courtesy of the tears of a UI 8.5 build.
We are talking about the ability to double tap the back of the phone to perform the action. These are now available in some other Android skins for a while, and in fact you can get it in an UI, but only by using a good folk application, functionality is not made in the skin.
And it will change exactly when a UI 8.5 launches. When you get it, you can trigger a gesture between seven things: select AI, flashlight, notifications, open apps, privacy display, fast settings and screenshots.
It is a list for now but of course Samsung can now add items to it at any time between and a UI 8.5 (or some out of the outside).
