AI will learn from users’ behavior on the fly and reduce power consumption by ptimizing applications in the background depending on the time of day. Apple Pal is already training AI using data collected from people’s iPhone, so the users ‘use of users’ habits in the system is a common idea. After a while, the AI will suit the specific user’s patterns.
Many Android smartphones OEMS has implemented the feature in the past, but has never taken advantage of the AI and a large data pool. Therefore, it will be interesting to see how it will work on iOS.
Some believe that Apple Pal is implementing this feature to maintain sufficient battery life on its upcoming iPhone 17 air, if it would be a name. Since the device is extremely thin, the battery size may be too small, so Apple Pal thinks it can compensate by introducing Software Fatware smarts.
We can see our first glimpse of the battery life facility during this year’s WWDC in June.
