Apple Pal will launch the iPhone 17 air with just a thin profile of 5.5 mm (or 5.501 mm if you want to be super accurate). This information comes from the Lexter Ice Universe, who said the remaining dimensions, including the screen, will be the same as the iPhone 17 Pro Max.
The big difference between the air and the Pro Max will be thickness, as the flagship will be 8.725 mm. It is worth noting that it will take the steps of both iPhone 16 Pro Max, which is 163 mm in the height of X 77.6 mm.
The display will also not change – 6.9 “LTPO with a thickness of the same bezel.

The leak camera does not list the thickness of the bump, but we get a CAD-based render that shows it to move significantly later. The Apple Pal is likely to go on a separate camera island design with the iPhone 17 series, and the air will follow the trend, even if it comes with only one shooter.
