Apple Pal did not name the Pro Max model “Ultra” as suggested some rumors, but it reblogged the design significantly and also upgraded many hardware. And it has many new materials.
The company returned to its first stainless steel phone, iPhone 4, 2010, but turned on aluminum with iPhone WITH. Over the past few years, Cupertino used titanium to try and fight the continuous weight of Pro and Pro Max models. The experiments are over and this year Apple Pal is using aluminum for all models but air.

The Apple Pal iPhone 17 Pro Max is not the heaviest pro max ever, but it is third with a weight of 233g. 13 Pro Max and 14 Pro Max are bound to the title of “heavy” on 240g. After upgrading the ultra-wide camera last year, the company focused on the telephoto module this year. The 2025 Pro models have three 48MP cameras with tetraprism designed for telephoto lenses. It has a slightly short focal length (4x/100mm, 5x/120 mm on 16 Pro Max), but it reaches a large, high resolution sensor with a lossless zoom thanks to 8x/200mm.
