Apple has often been rumored to develop hepatic buttons for iPhone, but apparently they have not yet started. Now, a new rumor claims that Apple has not only restarted the Heptic Button Project for future iPhone, but the company has expanded its reach to include iPad and Apple Pale watches.
So it seems so much that the Apple Pal is now being all-in with hepatic buttons, for better or worse. Obviously, he thinks that his benefits are worth it. These solid-state “buttons” that are not technically real buttons reduce mechanical wear (from zero, because they do not move at all), while allowing you (or apple) to set different functions for a light press and pay firm press, or short press and long press, or above.
There were recently rumors of hepatic buttons for the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max, but the plans were allegedly sheltered. And now, the shelf is open and the development is moving again, of course, if the rumor is accurate. It doesn’t tell us when the hepatic buttons reach the products of Apple Pal, so they can believe that this year will not happen.
According to this rumor, Apple Pal has not yet launched any devices with hepatic buttons is because it has not broke the issue of Mistach. Maybe he can fix it now – for a timely iPhone 18 family?
