According to a new report based on the Internal Apple Pal Developer Code, the company is currently busy looking for ways to bring Touch ID (aka fingerprint scanner if you do not live) on its watches.
This will come early next year, so probably on Apple Apple Pal Watch Watch Ch in Ultra 4. The code in the question especially refers to the “Apple Palmesa”, which has long been the company’s internal code for Touch ID.
Since the code is just for internal use, this idea is still in the prototype phase. Therefore, there will be no facility in any of the clocks coming out this year.
If you are wondering where the fingerprint sensor goes to the clock too, the answer is very easy when we want smartphones – basically, it will either be embedded in the button, or on the screen. In the past an OPT pattical in-display sensor has been rumored, and of course there is always a way to put it in the side button.
Last week’s rumor claimed that Apple Pal’s watches are for big redesign next year, and this would suit it properly. 2026 models can also get a new processor.
